Happy Hormone Cottage HappeningsLyn

I am SO excited to introduce and welcome our two newest additions to our HHC team.
Tammy Blevins, RN, MSN, CNP, joins our Dr Kathy Nelson-Murphy as nurse practitioner. Tammy will be mainly at our Mason office, but will help out at our Kettering office when Dr Nelson is working at our Vandalia HHC. You can read more about Tammy on “Our Nurse Practitioners” webpage at .

I would also like to welcome office manager, Carol Stegman , to our Mason Happy Hormone Cottage. Carol brings with her a wealth of information  and passion in women’s health. Previously, Carol was the publisher of “Natural Awakenings” magazine in our Cincinnati area. We are thrilled to welcome Carol to our team and to be able to expand our hours at our Mason location to accommodate our growing clientele.

Plans are moving forward in our imminent move to our new building in Centerville. We closed on our building in late summer. Jeff and his parents spent several weekends on landscaping and spreading mulch to beautify the outside area. Architectural plans are finalized, while polished concrete flooring will be finished soon. The next phase will be to take our 2400 sq ft room and create offices, a compounding lab, pharmacy and retail space etc. We hope to move into our new integrative health center in early 2018.

I’m happy to include here information on an expansion in policy at our HHC. With the addition of another nurse practitioner, we are now able to welcome appointments with our medical staff for more services. Now women can make a 30 minute appointment with one of our nurse practitioners prior to hormone testing to discuss such things as hormonal concerns, ask questions, and gather information. The goal is to strategize and receive direction on next steps in your health journey. We can also bring women in to focus on, for example, thyroid and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. You can call us at 513-444-6343 for an appointment or for more information.

Updates on my two other loves- my Women’s Health Initiatives Foundation and our Collective Wellness Partners collaboration:
